ABOUT ME

The start of this school year will mark the beginning of my fifteenth year as an educator.  In 2003, I graduated from Bridgewater State College with a bachelor's degree in History.  After spending a year teaching at Taunton High School I began working at AHS as a history teacher in the social studies department.  In 2009, I returned to BSU to complete post-baccalaureate work.  My studies will continue this year as I work to complete a graduate program for a degree in school Library Media at Cambridge College.

In addition to my teaching responsibilities, for the past six years I have served as the president of the Abington Education Association.

I enjoy reading, traveling, knitting, and volunteering at a local historical society.  Nothing makes me happier than spending time with my children, tending the gardens in my yard, and a beautiful day at the beach.

I feel so fortunate to have a career where I get to share my passion for history with young people.  I'm looking forward to a wonderful school year!
